"Ramu" is a music cover video which was made with the help of Gravitate Production company. My role for the project was to compose/recorded the music for the project. However, during the production of the video, I also managed the film team of the project by supplying them with the needed video equipment and demonstrating them the cinematography of the video. Again this showcases my ability to work and lead a team.
When producing the music for the video I used Cubase recording software to structure and mix the song. Furthermore I used various virtual instruments such as "Native Instruments Action Strikes" and "8Dio Cellos" to add taco precision and cello instrumentation to the track. Finally, I recorded acoustic guitar and vocals using a single condenser microphone (AKG Perception 210). When recording the guitar the microphone was situated close to the twelve threat of the guitar in order to achieve good balance of high and low frequencies. The vocal was recorded while standing six inches away from the microphone which helped to capture sharpness and deeper tones of the voice. After the recording process, both tracks were cleaned up using "Wave Q10" equalizers and have been made even in sound level using "T-Racks Classic" compressor. The video and pictures on the right serve as evidence to showcase my audio recording and processing technique skills mentioned earlier. |
